If you are serious about using dictation, I suggest you switch to an Apple computer, because dictation, although never perfect, works a whole lot better and is more reliable on the Apple system than it is on Microsoft.
For several years, I have not been typing email messages and things like that; when clients contact me, I reply to their email messages, but I always use the dictation feature on my iPhone.

Thank you for this. Sadly - and this is karma - I've rather disqualified myself from Apple stuff. All my family have Apple computers and I've scoffed at them for years, informing them that PC stands for Proper Computer. Yes, I know and it serves me right. Jodi.
