I loved reading this short story by Victoria Axon, wishing it was a full novel. I was swiftly drawn into the characters and the detail was so good, I had the scene set very quickly in my imagination, making me read on and left me wanting more. I look forward to more stories from Victoria.
Wow! This is one I'm not sure if I'd want to see a novel version of - it's so powerful at this length. (Could be a great series of short stories, though!) Though maybe I shouldn't say that, because I can also see how there could be a great novel from the POV of people who work there. Anyway, really liked this.
