Did you mean gamboling? I’m not sure lambs gamble. Sheep, maybe…

Lambs gambol- for sure. Jump about with glee in their hearts.

Sending love, hugs and sunshiney thoughts. I have lots of snowdrops in the garden and the daffodils are considering opening. The hens are splodging around their run and also hoping for dry weather. Keep going Jodi x

If you use reddit, check the sub /UKweather. Everyone is moaning and is depressed with the rain and grey and... yes, there are a few flowers coming out in gardens but really... . We are all there.

As for edits, I did a PhD and ran a journal for a while. Editing is always the time when.... I feel your pain. All I can say, is it is so worth it as your readers love your books and I don't grumble as I read about the spelling and grammar and timeline issues. Yes, I do spot them in other novels!

Is that 'All I can say, is it is.....' or 'All I can say is, it is so'? Sorry you put me in my Uni. marking mode.

Here in the American hinterland we've reached the point at which the snow and ice melt a little each afternoon, so they can freeze again that night and give you fresh, slick ice every morning, like a natural zamboni machine.

What sort of fraud does Lloyd's need you to perpetrate? Isn't that sort of thing mostly done in-house?

Our hosepipe ban in East Sussex was lifted last week.

The evenings are staying brighter later, and we even had a bit of... Big bright orange thing... in the sky today, and blue skies.

It won't be long before we are moaning that it is too hot.

Please stay in the prison camp of hell, the deadline is at your feet (not looming) and crossing the line resulted in being shot, 160 years ago. So please be careful we, your readers are looming for this book.

From my long ago English grammar classes, watch out for split infinitives and punctuation, not to mention mixed metaphors and the strange behaviour of English lambs Lad..., W H and Joe must be gamboling with glee.
