The food in the seventies in the UK sounds much like what we in the USA were enjoying. Along with box wine or the Mateus Rose'.
And don't forget the odd bottle of Blue Nun or Mateus RosĂ© to wash it all down đŸ¤£

I will defend them at the time they were innovative
But failed to adapt into the late 80s when Harvester became there main rivals but my memories go to the Dutch Apple pie and the Dover Sole
