There are tiny quiet moments in JT's action packed books that are precious. Rounds it all out so nicely.

Love the sweet ending and also “Things to do - buy Markham a beer”

More important than the gun. I think the Time Police must be told about the time slip near Moscow in 1814. They are singing a chorus to the !812 Overture before the battle and before the music was written!!!

They = French army. In 1812 not 1814 - my time slip, and thanks for the warning about WD40.

My favorite lines from this story:

Someone had built an enormous snowman on the South Lawn. I’m almost certain the carrot is supposed to go on the face.

All I can think is - AGAIN - poor Markham! And - AGAIN - LEON! Loved this one!

I enjoyed reading this again for the Christmas Challenge. Max once again fixes the 'problem'. Elsbeth was very lucky to have Max on her side.

Mental note: must remember to bring along toilet paper if I go to ancient Egypt.
