Looking forward to that, I love Max, Peterson and Markham (the dream team, or the usual suspects, quote Dr Bairstow). Peterson seems to have become very responsible lately -Being DD, and ahusband and father. I hope he has some fun this time round.
I like the last proposed title. And along with millions of others, can’t wait for the next books. But as the last one hasn’t been edited, and assuming you actually read these, may I suggest that you do a universal search and change every “try and” to “try to”. I know everyone gets this wrong - the last book I read where it was actually used correctly was one by Sarah Ferguson. Perhaps royals have stricter teachers. But “and” is a conjunction meaning you are actually doing two actions, when you are only doing the first, and hoping to do the second. They used to teach English grammar even here in the colonies (yes, I’m old) although from reading contemporary authors I’m not sure it’s done any longer. Other than the foregoing, yours is actually quite good.
I like the possible title “well that could have gone better” as there are many days when I think I would fit right in at St Marys. Looking forward to all new adventures featuring my favorite book characters
Yeah! Love the St Mary’s characters and your creativity of where they go in time and who they meet. Have you considered the Klondike Gold Rush in Yukon in 1899-1902, or Hudson’s Bay Company voyagers heading to Fort Vancouver in the Pacific Northwest, or Hannibal with the elephants invading Italy?
I love Well That Could Have Gone Better. Tunes in so well with the St Mary’s zeitgeist!
Also could I have another plea/whinge about book prices in Australia? The Companion is over $90AUD (only available hardback) and the Christmas story is Kindle $14.99AUD. So unfair!
I like "Well, That Could Have Gone Better" ... It tallies nicely with "Just One Damned Thing.." I'd love to know how the little Mammoth is getting along & if the dodos (dodoes?) are doing well.
Great news. But please don’t use Time in a St Mary’s title. I’m a simple soul and easily confused
I like "The Anals of History". Please try pushing for it. As so many others, I'm looking forward to the next adventures in the St Mary's Universe.

I too like the title "Well that could have gone better", and I'm looking forward to see how you progress Markham's troubles with the Authorities.
Fantastic news about Smallhope and Pennyroyal 2. Just rereading the first one now.
Such brilliant writing Jodi 😊♥️

I’d go with “Well, that could have gone better” or something similar which seems in the same vein as other titles.
