This book is number 5 in the story of Gobbelino a very gobby cat with attitude and his human Callum. They are penniless PI’s in a supernatural world. We are starting to learn more about Callum’s past and Gobbelino is just starting to wonder about his. Where ever they go chaos and disaster just follow them.
Kim’s books are sex and swearing free. Which is lovely as my granddaughter sits next to me reading my kindle. KMW’s genre keeps including the word Cosy. But I think it dumbs down her work. She has some fantastic prose and wisdom’s. I often stop and re- read it because the words she has used paint such a lovely strong picture or feeling. She’s a brilliant story teller keeping you wide eyed and hooked.
Her other stories about dragons and the WI are weirdly hilarious. But be careful reading those as they will cause a massive increase in calorie intake.
Also try out her recipes they are excellent.
