Why the title, White Silence?

It's to do with the snow. That moment when you wake up after snow has fallen in the night. There's a special kind of silence and everything is so white it hurts your eyes. The importance of snow is a recurring theme, given who Elizabeth is.

Just finished reading for the first time and really enjoyed - looking forward to the second installment in March!

I just blew through all three of the Elizabeth Cage books over the last two weeks. Great stuff! Jodi is such an amazing storyteller! Eagerly awaiting the next installment!

This is another genre busting book. I got a bit lost as I had to reread all 3 books again then remembered why I had started reading White Silence again.

I think the sight of a good book is that it can be reread over and over. I never tire of the super fast wit and sarcasm.

I also love the way Jodi writes. Most authors would create one drama and that is the central part of the story. But we have adventure after adventure. Quite a roller coaster, of tense scenes, pure anxiety, fear, snorting laughter, relief and curiosity.

Oh, I absolutely loved this. I'll be good and wait until March for Dark Light, but it'll be a struggle. I was put off originally by the 'supernatural' tag, not my thing normally, but apart from having to put the book down and wait for my husband to get home as I was too afraid to read on at one point, I was OK!

Just finished it again. So many twists and turns and having already read all three in the series, it is interesting how I interpret the events and Elizabeth Cage in White Silence differently to when I first read it. The last few chapters were disturbing to read, a roller coaster of emotions, but I love the banter between Cage and Jones.

Loved this. I am very confused about the alternative reality scenes but hope the next book will make things clearer. Very different from the St Mary's and Time Police books but equally brilliant.

Whilst I loved most of the book (I was most disappointed when our flight landed and I had to stop reading half way through), I didn’t like the ending. However, I am now going to read book 2 and see if it pulls me back in. This wasn’t something I would have chosen from the blurb but I am glad to have read it.

I absolutely loved this book, & read it so quickly, that I had to do so again, in case I'd missed anything - which, of course, I hadn't! Lol

There were times, as I read this, that the hair on my arms stood up - a great sign that the story had taken me totally away from my real life, and into the life of Elizabeth!

As usual, with Jodi, an atmospheric, and totally involving storyline!

These are fun, entertaining and at times heart pounding stories. Can’t wait for the next book.

I’m supposed to read the book to win a free copy of the same book?

I 'read' it as an audiobook so I would like to win the printed version.

Makes sense if you, like me, read it as an ebook and the prize is a printed version.

Have to agree that winning a sequel would make more sense...
