I'm so sad that we couldn't get to meet Jodi. We're from the Vosges and go to the Imaginales every year. We found out too late that Jodi would be there this year. We're in Normandy at the moment and having just read your post makes me regret even more not being in Épinal right now. I sincerely hope she'll be back next year so I can get to meet the woman whose books have given us so much pleasure. Best wishes to you all.

Glad you’re both enjoying yourself. I love France and am glad you’re enjoying the food and wine.

Anyone else wondering how “well, bloody bollocking hell” translates into French?

I am delighted that you are supporting the local wine industry with such dedication.

Bon voyage!

I would so LOVE being at an event like this! Is there such a thing in England, Wales or Scotland? Otherwise I'd get a Babbel account and go! That sounds amazing!

Rather delighted that our beloved author is popular outside the anglophone world.

What's 'remarkable' is not that Jodi has never visited Paris (neither have I) but that her writings transport us all through the world and through time as if she has been there and we can join her.

I am not surprised but Jofi's popularity. Her published works are all well written; compelling characters, witty and captivating dialog, with a well earned reputation attributed to key characters.
