Markham, Max, Peterson and Miss Sykes must jump to Restoration London in search of real Christmas pie - the honour of St Mary's is at stake. At least that how it all begins, but this is St Mary's after all...

I think I missed reading this one when it was first published. Horrors!
This was a complex story, which was a delight to read. I love the portrayal of the 'minor' characters, as well as the 'usual suspects'. Bring on the next story on 25th December, please.
