Another story to tear at the emotions. Beautifully crafted as always.

Wow. From Markham and his reindeer exploits to 19th C. slums and cruelties and filth therein. Really enjoyed this one.

Beautifully written - and so realistic I could smell the alley. Ugh.

Max most definitely is awesome!!

Go, Max! I was listening to this one in the car with my teenage son (also a St. Mary's fan!), and we cheered Max on as she got her revenge!

This story shows a more independent side of Max as she copes with the circumstances of loosing Matthews formative years and starts to understand him better, improving their relationship. Thoroughly enjoyed it

This is one of my faves. I love that Max knows what to do for Matthew even though she hasn't ''known' him for very long. When she confronts Ma Scrope she's quite scary !

OMG -- this was a heartbreaker but in a good way. I love that Max - who never thinks she's a good mom - really came through! But I cried.... in a good way!
