This is the third book in the Time Police series and things are definitely looking up for Team Weird.
They’ve actually qualified!
Hard to believe but there we go. Team 236 are now fully qualified TPO’s. They have their own office – complete with illegal coffee machine – but best of all they can now go armed. Luke can hardly wait to shoot someone. He’s not particularly bothered who.
And there’s more. Jane has a date. With a real person. Who would ever have thought?
It’s not all change though. Matthew still hasn’t had his hair cut. You win some – you lose some.
But before all that Jane is seconded to another team. They’ve actually requested her. But not for the reasons she thinks and it doesn’t go well for her. On the other hand, we do get to see her publicly use the word cockwomble.
This story was enormous fun to write – especially the now legendary Grint / Lockland date. From which not only do both parties emerge intact and unharmed but everyone learns a new and much more effective method of disposing of a body. I cannot describe the joy of writing that scene.
We also see more of Max as she joins with the Time Police in an effort to prevent an instance of Temporal Terrorism at the Acropolis.
However, this is team 236 and things very quickly take a turn for the worse. And they’ve no idea how much trouble they’re storing up for the future. Lots of old faces in this one plus some new ones for you to enjoy

Life is good for Team Weird, now heroes and fully-fledged Time Police officers. Luke can't wait to bear arms. Jane has a date. And Matthew still hasn't had his hair cut.
But Time waits for no one and neither do criminal masterminds. A major threat to the Timeline is looming, one far deadlier than mere idiots who want to change history. And when a familiar face becomes a Very Important Lead, will conflicting family loyalties spell trouble for Team Weird?
One missing. One guilt-ridden. And one facing the end of their Time Police career before it's even begun. Not so good then, after all.
Next Month’s book will be About Time: Book Four in the Time Police Series
Not often I laugh out loud reading a book. I has happened several times on the great man and on this great lady. 'That scene' in this book causes uncontrollable laughter even when I read it for the 4th time.
