The countdown is nearly over! We’re just weeks away from gathering in Cheltenham for an extraordinary weekend — the Murder Mystery Launch of Out of Time, the sixth thrilling instalment in Jodi Taylor’s Time Police series. On 27–28 September, fans from near and far will come together for an afternoon tea with a twist, an immersive mystery to solve, and, of course, the chance to celebrate a brand-new adventure from Jodi.
We cannot wait to see so many of you in person again — familiar faces and new ones alike. Jodiworld Events have always been about more than just books; they’re about community, laughter, and a shared love of the worlds Jodi creates. This weekend promises to be one of our most memorable yet.
To mark the launch of Out of Time, we’ve created a brand-new range of Time Police merchandise. From T-shirts and hoodies to mugs and tote bags, there’s something for every fan. The full collection is now live on the Jodi Taylor Shop, so whether you’re attending the launch or cheering us on from afar, you can join in the celebration.
For those joining us in Cheltenham, signed hardback copies of Out of Time will be available exclusively at the event. After that, they’ll be available to purchase through the Jodi Taylor Shop — but do be quick, as they won’t stay in stock for long!
Meanwhile, the Jodiworld Convention Committee have been working very hard behind the scenes to secure a suitable hotel for the next full Jodiworld Convention – and whilst we’re still looking, we’re thrilled to confirm that it will take place from Friday 28th May to Monday 31st May 2027 — four FULL days across the Bank Holiday weekend. Plotting and planning is already well underway, with events, games, quizzes, and Pod Quests being hatched even as we speak. Rest assured, it will be a convention to remember.
We’re so looking forward to sharing the Cheltenham weekend with you all this September — expect mischief, murder (of the fictional variety), plenty of laughter, and a chance to step once again into the Multiverse that unites us.
